Colonial Candle brand was founded over 100 years ago and today it still brightens homes all over the United States. The history of Colonial Candle goes back to 1905, when Mabel Baker, formerly a school teacher, begins to hand-crafting bayberry tapered candles in her tiny Cape Cod kitchen. Candles became so popular with friends and family that she began selling them at her husband's local hardware store. In 1909, many of the Cape Cod stores were selling Mrs. Baker candles, and the Colonial Candle was born.
